This position is based fully onsite at our office in Addison, TX. An Active Texas Real Estate license is required in order to be considered.
Summary of Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support the Leasing Manager in a diverse range of leasing activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Supervise and provide guidance to leasing agents, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
- Manage escalated concerns, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of any issues.
- Lead training initiatives for new leasing team members, ensuring they are well-equipped for success.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for leasing-related inquiries and issues from cross-functional departments.
- Monitor, analyze, and track leasing data and reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Regularly communicate leasing metrics to relevant stakeholders, providing insight into team performance.
- Make strategic recommendations for rent reductions when deemed appropriate to optimize leasing terms.
- Conduct thorough audits to verify the accuracy of contract dates, charges, and commission reports.
- Oversee email communication and update relevant parties on leasing-related issues and developments.
- Actively participate in leasing meetings, addressing ongoing issues, updates, and improvements.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as required.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Active Texas Real Estate License. As an Open House employee, you will be required to hang your license with our brokerage and will not be permitted to practice Real Estate while employed.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 3+ years experience in Property Management
- Proven experience in leasing or related fields, with a strong understanding of industry practices.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, with a history of successfully achieving departmental objectives.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to resolving challenges.
- A strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and fostering positive client relationships.
- Proficiency in property management software and technology solutions is highly desirable.
