High-volume Real estate investment company is searching for a detailed and proactive Field Inspector to assist in the growth of our company in the Houston and surrounding areas. A strong ability to problem solve, manage multiple tasks at once, as well as receive direction from multiple team members is a must. An Active Texas Inspector and/or Real Estate license is required for this position in order to be considered.

 

Summary of Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conduct property walkthroughs to assess the condition of homes.
  • Take comprehensive photos and document findings during inspections.
  • Place lock boxes and keys at new listings.
  • Maintain a positive, professional demeanor with residents, visitors, and coworkers.
  • Attend mandatory training sessions, in-service meetings, and staff meetings.
  • Complete additional administrative tasks as assigned.

 

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • An Active Texas Inspector and/or Real Estate License is required.
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License is required for daily travel to various properties to conduct timely inspections.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of property inspection experience is required.
  • Familiarity with MLS, Propertyware, and Rently is preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately assess and document property conditions, identifying key details and potential issues.
  • Outstanding time management skills with a proven ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage a varied workload, and consistently meet deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Capable of working independently, problem solving, and multitasking effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and customer service skills, maintaining a professional, approachable, and positive demeanor with tenants, visitors, and team members.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, schedules, and priorities, ensuring smooth operations.
