Make Ready Technician – Residential

We are seeking a qualified, reliable maintenance technician to join our residential maintenance department. You will be responsible for maintenance and repair duties for single-family homes held managed by our company.

To be an effective maintenance technician, we are looking for a candidate who is skilled with their hands, knowledgeable in repairs, hard-working, and with outstanding problem-solving abilities. Skillful hands, good physical stamina, and strong technical knowledge are important parts for this position.

Responsibilities and Duties:

This would include but not be limited to the following:

• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Repair plumbing, electrical and safety systems.
• Perform electrical repairs for residential properties, including lights and laundry.
• Ensure mechanical equipment is in working order and fixed as necessary.
• Complete general building cleaning and maintenance.
• Install and replace floors, stairs and piping as needed.
• Repair and paint doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs and other parts of the building.
• Maintain and repair air conditioning and heating systems as required.
• Other related maintenance & repairs

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Driver’s License
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
• A minimum of 2 years’ working experience in a similar role.
• Solid experience with plumbing and electrical systems.
• Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment.
• Extremely organized with good communication skills.
• Detail-orientated with an aptitude for problem-solving.
• Driving to multiple location in DFW and surrounding areas
